The Falklands Conflict

Atlantic Conveyor loading harriers off Ascension Isle. I had a close personal interest in the Falklands Conflict, because my son was a helicopter pilot in the conflict, and survived the sinking of the Atlantic Conveyor.

One of my celebratory church organ works, Fanfare for Freedom (to be published April 2007 by animus Music"), was composed in thanksgiving for the successful ending of the conflict.

I am looking forward to the anniversary celebrations in 2007, and hope that Fanfare for Freedom will be available in print in time for the anniversary and may be widely used at this time.

The Falklands 25 website gives many details of events, together with pictures and reminiscences. (Right click on the link and choose 'Open in new page' or 'Open in new tab'.)
